A prayer song written decades ago (recorded on a cassette tape) and apparently used during my Mom's private prayer and reflection time. Now that she has passed, I had a demo made so everyone might be able to enjoy her talent and love of her Lord.
My Mom passed on November 11, 2019; she was 96. For her 90th birthday, she had shared with me a prayer song she wrote using the words to the Hail Mary. She had used it in her private prayer time for 45 years before we heard about it and were able to have a demo made to share with family and friends. Well, it turns out there was more to the story that she didnt share at the time. She also wrote a song for the Our Father prayer. I found a recording she had made herself on a cassette recorder as I was cleaning out her basement after her death. It was in terrible condition but we were able to pull out what was needed and put together another demo for everyone to enjoy. So now we can enjoy her talent one more time and know you are some of the first few people to hear this song from my Mom.
Our Father, Who art in Heaven,
Hallowed be Thy name;
Thy kingdom come; Thy will be done
on Earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread;
and forgive us our trespasses
as we forgive those who trespass against us;
and lead not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
Amen
